So, in the time I've been here (about 6 weeks) I've seen NE Minnesota go from winter-y conditions to spring. It's been nice to see the transitions. The songbirds are out singing, flowers are starting to bloom in the woods, but inland... well, there's still snow, but that's a different story. At the moment, I've got the windows open and I am listening to the chickadees sing.
I never realized how much I missed seagulls until I moved back to Lake Country.
The Harbor was under ice... not so much anymore!
Town from the breakwall...
even the ice was beautiful in its return to the liquid state
a small part of Lake Superior
People are crazy enough to paddle in early April. Good for them!
This town...
This place...
These people...
...all have their own history.
(and this was meant to be rotated...)
beautiful pics, sarah!
